According to The New York Post, former Warner Music Group exec Lyor Cohen has teamed up with Irv Gotti to partner in a yet-to-be- announced talent management firm. It was added that Gotti is looking to manage Drake, while Cohen is looking to make good friend Kanye West a client.

A photo of Irv and Drake recently made the rounds online, and an unnamed music industry insider weighed in on the situation, saying "If Lyor and Irv do work together, it's possible they'll have two of the biggest hip-hop stars under their management."

As of now, nothing is solidified, seeing as how Drake is still managed by Cortez Bryant and Kanye is still being managed by Creative Artists Agency's Cara Lewis. However, many are thinking Drake is asserting himself beyond YMCMB's reach by Warner Bros. signing his OVO label.

Do you think this is a good move for Irv, Lyor and Drake?
