Former NBA superstar Allen Iverson is fighting back at his Atlanta mansion being foreclosed, as TMZ reveals that he's filed legal documents to put a stop to the sale. Iverson's mansion was supposed to go on the auction block on December 4th after allegedly defaulting on his $1.2 million mortgage.

Before the foreclosure sale took place Iverson reportedly filed documents against the lender, claiming he never consented to the loan. Iverson says his wife, whom he's currently battling in a nasty divorce, signed for the mortgage and agreed to terms she knew he couldn't meet.

Iverson has bought himself some time in the battle to save the home by putting a hold on the proceedings.
