50 Cent has always been as much a businessman as a rapper, and it's his penchant for business that has made him a very rich man. In a recent interview with Billboard, 50 recalled starting his Street King energy company, but more importantly noted the effect Occupy Wall Street had on it.

Fif was developing his energy drink product around the same time OWS was at its height. He said that witnessing people's courage in fighting corporations gave him the inspiration to donate a portion of Street King energy's proceeds to the United World Food Program.

"When I was developing the market for Street King, there was a lot of protesting going on--Occupy Wall Street, L.A. and Chicago, all those different places," said 50. "It was really visible how people felt major corporations didn't actually care about them. It felt like the right thing to do."
