Trina has been sued for $50 million after allegedly refusing to appear at an event called "American Next Top Rapper." Omnipresent Media and Lawrence "Amar" Wright claim that Trina and her management refused to send promotional videos for organizers, and say she demanded more money.

Trina allegedly agreed to judge the online competition, where rappers battled for a $20,000 cash prize, a distribution deal with Universal and a production team. Omnipresent claims that when Trina didn't show up for the event audience members became "unruly" and "heckled competition participants."
