New developments continue to emerge in the case involving Kevin Clash, the voice behind popular Sesame Street character Elmo, and Sheldon Stephens, who has said that he had a sexual relationship with Clash. Stephens initially stated that he was underage at the time of the relationship but later recanted those claims, saying he was an adult. Now he is changing his story once again, claiming that he was a minor during the relationship, and according to TMZ Stephens wants to return the $125,000 settlement money.
It was recently reported that Clash paid Stephens $125K in a settlement which included a written statement that said their relationship was consensual. Clash did confirm that he and Stephens were involved in this relationship but contended that Stephens was not a minor.
