A number of relief efforts have been put together to help those who were affected by Hurricane Sandy, and Hip Hop will look to do its part as some of music's biggest stars will come together for a New York City Hurricane Sandy Benefit Concert. The likes of Kanye West, Alicia Keys, Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band, The Who, Paul McCartney, Billy Joel, and Roger Waters will be taking the stage at an event known as "12.12.12.: The Concert for Sandy Relief."
The Daily News reports that this particular live performance will be televised but it remains unknown as to what station(s) will air the concert. The event will be taking place at Madison Square Garden on Wednesday, December 12th. All of the proceeds will go to the Robin Hood Relief Fund.
Details on tickets and possible additional acts will be announced in the coming days.
