Hip Hop legend Jay-Z is the latest big name celebrity to appear in an advertisement for the same-sex marriage campaign "The Four 2012", who fights for marriage equality rights in four "battleground" states of Washington, Maryland, Maine, and Minnesota. The caption at the bottom of Hov's ad is from an interview he did with CNN, in which he talked about Obama's support of gay marriage.

"I've always thought it was something that was still, um, holding the country back," said Jay. "What people do in their own homes is their business and you can choose to love whoever you love. That's their business. [Discriminating against gays] is no different than discriminating against blacks. It's discrimination plain and simple."

Jigga's ad was preceded by an ad featuring Bruce Springsteen.
