Lil Scrappy was arrested in Atlanta yesterday for failing to check in with his probation officer, and the rapper is currently still behind bars.  He was hit with a marijuana possession charge back in 2008 that has required him to have various meetings with his probation officer ever since.  However, two weeks prior to his recent arrest, Scrappy filed documents in the DeKalb County Superior Court requesting that an outstanding warrant for his arrest from August 9th, 2012, be lifted.

On August 9th, Scrappy failed to meet with his probation officer, because according to him, he hadn't had an actual meeting with his PO for a year and a half, and that he has been on non-reporting status for all of that time.  He claims that he had no knowledge of a scheduled meeting date, but unfortunately for Scrappy, the judge failed to lift the warrant and because of this, he was arrested yesterday.  He will appear in front of a judge in the near future, but for now he is locked up.
