Both Will Smith and Jay-Z have decided to support a new film which chronicles the life of Angela Davis. The documentary is called "Free Angela Davis and All Political Prisoners", and it's set to screen at the Toronto Film Festival. Smith's company Overbrook Entertainment and Hov's company Roc Nation will both be listed as executive producers for the film.

Jada Pinkett Smith said in a press release, "We at Overbrook Entertainment are very proud to support this intriguing documentary about the life of Angela Davis. Filmmaker Shola Lynch has done an incredible job in revealing a piece of American history we thought we all knew."

The movie will mark the 40th anniversary of Angela Davis' acquittal of first degree murder and documents her journey through the trial.
