Sunday night's Billboard Music Awards saw the likes of Lil Wayne dominate the rap and hip hop categories, as the Young Money general was able to rack up four awards including Top Male Artist, Top Rap Artist, Top Rap Album for the Tha Carter IV, and Top R&B Song for an appearance he made on a Kelly Rowland song.

But even though Lil Tunechi was the big earner for hip hop, it was singer and songwriter Adele who once again posted great numbers, taking home a whopping 12 awards including Top Artist, as well as Top Billboard 200 Album.

Among the other winners of the night were rapper Wiz Khalifa, who won Top New Artist while Young Money's Nicki Minaj brought in an award for Top Streaming Song due to the success of her "Super Bass" track.
